Meet Wahab
Founder of A.W. Law LLC. Still taking first meetings myself.
I started A.W. Law in 2015, the year I was admitted to the Singapore Bar. I wanted a practice where the lawyer who takes your first call is the same one who runs your matter. Ten years in, that still holds.
When you book a 10-min Discovery Session on this page, it reaches me directly. No intake officer in the middle.

Beyond the State Courts.
My practice runs past the usual Singapore courtroom track. A few credentials that tend to matter for complex or cross-border matters:
-
SIAC arbitration
I appear in arbitration proceedings at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre for commercial disputes.
-
FIDReC neutral evaluator
I serve as a neutral evaluator for the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre on consumer banking and insurance disputes.
-
DIFC Courts, Dubai
I hold full rights of audience at the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts for cross-border commercial matters.
-
The Straits Times
Covered in The Straits Times for successfully avoiding a custodial sentence in a death-by-negligence matter.
How I actually work.
These are the things clients tell me they didn't get from other firms.
- 10-min Discovery Session, free
- No commitment, no form-filling. Tell me what's happening; I'll tell you if it's a matter I take and roughly what it'd cost.
- Fee estimate in writing, before anything starts
- You'll have a written quote with scope before I open a file. No hourly-rate surprises.
- WhatsApp replies until 10pm on weekdays
- Stressful matters don't wait for 9am. If you text, you'll hear back the same evening.
- English, Malay, or Tamil, whichever is easiest
- All meetings, all correspondence. For Vietnamese-speaking clients, the firm arranges language support separately.
